Open Heart developed over the course of June 2021-September 2023 in the Norwalk Art Space spiral stairwell. The project grew from a few branches (initially intended as a temporary place for a small hanging heart sculpture) into a living and collaborative project. The installation commemorates the community I found at the Norwalk Art Space, as well as its founder, human rights advocate Alexandra Davern Korry.
